Here is Andy Warstar's "Best Of" collection, compiled in 2008 after returning from his "Go Folk Yourself" Australian tour. The story goes that Andy Warstar had hitch-hiked down to San Diego, California to visit a friend. On his return trip to Oregon, Warstar decided to hitch through Los Angeles and see what was happening down on Venice Beach.
After a few days of jamming with locals and soaking up the sun, Andy Warstar was invited up to Laurel Canyon where he spent the evening. The next morning, he was hitching down the hill out of the canyon when a nice lady in a Lexus automobile gave Andy a ride. The nice lady also gave Warstar 40 dollars for traveling money and made him promise to send her a copy of a C.D. with his best songs.
Thus, this "Best Of" compilation was made for a total stranger, and was mailed off in good faith, although Warstar never discovered whether she enjoyed the music. However, now it's your chance to enjoy some of Andy Warstar's early studio tracks. And though you may not have 40 dollars to buy your freedom, you get to listen and download this album absolutely FREE! Enjoy...

Hey there, Warheads.
Here on Internet Archive, you are getting all Andy Warstar & the Warstars music for FREE. A lot of time and effort went into playing and recording this music.
It took time to compile this and organize it, it took time to make an album cover, and it took time to upload it on the net.
Your old pal Andy Warstar rates all these recordings at Five Stars so that you can find us at the top of the list here on Internet Archive.
If you want to continue seeing your hard working, independent D.I.Y. musicians at the top of the list, please leave five star ratings as well.
After all, we didn't get paid for doing any of this. Selling sound is a scam! Keep music FREE, and rock on...
